The National Arts Education Archive is a major research facility  operating within YSP Learning, Research and Artistic Programming.  It was established in 1985 to provide documentary evidence of the development of arts education in the UK and worldwide, by collecting children’s and students’ work and the papers, letters and work of key educators and artists in the visual arts, music and language.  The documentary evidence is based in the Lawrence Batley Centre at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and is available to researchers, students, lecturers and the general public on an individual basis by appointment.
