Cancellation of Reunion
Due to the Government's national restrictions as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic, Alan Parker issued the following statement:
It is with regret that we, as the organising group, have had to cancel the annual Reunion to be held in May. We are looking upon this as a postponement and not an absolute cancellation. A date at the end of the year will be looked at and notice given as soon as the Covid19 virus is out of the way.
The Sculpture Park has made the following statement about deposits:
"Good afternoon Alan,
I’m really sorry to have to do this, but given the current situation with COVID-19 I want to suggest you postpone until the end of the year.
I have been advised to postpone all bookings. I will speak to Kathryn in our finance department about refunds as people have booked through sage pay on the website.
I apologise again.
All very unfortunate, but we have no alternative. I personally have booked a couple of nights in Wakefield for the period and will probably suggest that those of us who are in the area meet for an informal walk or coffee if things are looking better by then.
Anyway, stay safe and lets hope that there are no casualties amongst our Alumni. I am now grounded for a while and will spend some time, along with Tony, sorting out and updating the website.
